Registering the Printer

To print using RICOH Print Support Application, register the printer in the "Devices and Printers" screen on the control panel.

  1. Display the "Devices and Printers" screen.

    1. On the [Start] menu, click [All apps] [Windows Tools] [Control Panel].

    2. Click [View devices and printers].

  2. Click [Printers & Scanners].

  3. Click [Add a device].
    If your printer or MFP is not detected, proceed with the following steps.

    • Registering and Adding a Standard Printer

      1. Click [Add manually] if your printer or MFP is not detected.

      2. Select [Add a printer using an IP address or host name], and then click [Next>].

      3. Specify [IPP Device] in [Device Type].

      4. Enter the host name or IP address of the printer that you want to add, and then click [Next].

      5. Click [Finish].
        The name of the added printer is displayed.

    • Registering and Adding a Universal Print

      1. From the [show printers and scanners associated with my] drop-down list, select [Work or school].

      2. From the cloud printers searched, click the [Add a device] button of the one that you want.
        A connection is made, and the printer is added.

  • The printer or MFP appears in the form of "Model name [number]"
