Job processing errors

Invalid data was read from NFC tag.

  • The information contained in the NFC tag cannot be read correctly.

  • The information read from an NFC tag is incorrect or is in an incorrect format.

    Use the NFC writing function of this application to write the information to the NFC tag. See Writing the Network Settings to the NFC Tag in this manual.

Failed to connect to the Wi-Fi. Please refer to Troubleshooting in the user manual. Then check your network's configuration.

  • The Wi-Fi® connection of the smart device is disabled. Enable the wireless LAN connection of the smart device.

  • A wireless LAN network does not exist. Check that the smart device is on the Wi-Fi® network.

  • The connection information written to the NFC tag is incorrect. Check that the information written to the NFC tag is correct.

Failed to connect the machine. Please refer to Troubleshooting in the user manual. Then check machine's settings and connection information.

  • The machine is offline (the machine is turned off or not connected to the network). Turn on the machine, and set the machine online. See the machine's manual.

  • Energy saving mode is enabled on the machine’s control panel, and the power to the wireless LAN interface is turned off. Press any button on the control panel of the machine or touch the display panel so that the machine recovers from energy saving mode.

  • The connection information written to the NFC tag is incorrect. Check that the information written to the NFC tag is correct.

The machine's IP address has been changed. Please contact the administrator for details and correct the IP address information registered to the NFC tag.

The IP address written on the NFC tag is out of date. (The IP address contained in the NFC tag referred to a different machine because the IP address contained in the NFC tag and used when a job was executed was different from the one used when the NFC tag was written.)

Contact your administrator, and re-write the NFC tag. See Writing the Network Settings to the NFC Tag in this manual.

The IP address contained in the QR code is out of date. (The IP address contained in the QR code referred to a different machine because the IP address contained in the QR code and used when a job was executed was different from the one used when the QR code was created.)

Contact your administrator, and re-generate the QR code.

The QR code is unsupported. Please read the QR code on the machine's operation panel or the QR code printed by this app's QR code print function.

A QR code other than the one displayed on the machine's operation panel or printed by the QR code print function of the application was read.

Read the QR code displayed on the machine or printed using the QR code print function.

Connecting to the machine as a guest is not allowed.

The smart device cannot access the machine via the corporate network, and the machine's QR applications prohibit any connection by a guest.

If the device can access the corporate network, connect it to the wireless LAN network.

Check that the IPv4 address written to the NFC tag or QR code is correct. Also, enable [Allow Usage by Guests]. For details, contact the administrator.

The authentication function with Bluetooth is currently unavailable. Please ask the administrator whether it is available.

The required settings for Bluetooth authentication are not configured. For the procedure to configure the setting, see Using a Smart Device to Log in to the MFP.

Cannot use this machine by connecting to it with Bluetooth. Please use another connection method or ask the administrator.
