Printing with RICOH Smart Integration

By using RICOH Smart Device Connector and RICOH Smart Integration, you can perform location-free printing without switching to a Wi-Fi® connection.

Important

  • It is necessary to log into RICOH Smart Integration and create a user account before using this function. For details about specifying the setting, see the RICOH Smart Integration manual.

Note

  • The RICOH Smart Integration tenant ID is required in order to use this function.

  • When printing HEIF files, they are converted to JPEG format.

Printing Using "Print"

Important

  • This is supported by Android 5.0 and later operating systems.

  • It is necessary to install "Print" on the MFP or printer before using this function. For details, see "Installing an Application on a Device" in the RICOH Smart Integration manual.

  1. Horizontally swipe the RICOH Smart Device Connector menu and select [Smart Integration].
    If the login window appears, enter the tenant ID to log in.

  2. Select [Print].

  3. Select the function and the location of the file to be printed.

  4. Select the file to be printed from the list.
    You can select only one file at a time.

  5. Tap [Print Settings].

  6. Configure the print settings.
    You can specify the settings for the number of copies, color or black-and-white printing selection, and paper size.

  7. Tap [Start].
    The messages [Sending...] and then [Sending Finished] appear.

  8. Press [Print] on the control panel of the MFP or printer.

  9. Press [Login] to log into RICOH Smart Integration.

  10. Check the box of the job to be printed.
    By pressing [Print Settings], you can change the settings configured in Step 6.

  11. Press [Start].
    The data is downloaded and printed.

Printing Using "Touchless Print"

Important

  • To use this function, the MFP or printer must support "Quick Card Authentication", and "Quick Card Authentication" must be enabled. See the machine's manual.

  1. Horizontally swipe the RICOH Smart Device Connector menu and select [Smart Integration].
    If the login window appears, enter the tenant ID to log in.

  2. Select [Touchless Print].

  3. Select from the list the file to be printed, and then tap [Apply].
    You can select multiple files.

  4. Tap [Print Settings].
    The print preview is not displayed.

  5. Tap [Start].
    The messages [Sending...] and then [Sending Finished] appear.

  6. Tap the Bluetooth label on the operation panel of the machine with the smart device.
    Printing starts.
