Protocol IP over 1394:
Select whether to enable or disable IP over 1394.
Device Name:
Input the name of the 1394 Interface Unit. Use 1 to 13 alphanumeric characters or spaces in the name. The factory default is "RNP" followed by the last 10 characters of the EUI-64 of the 1394 Interface Unit. For example, a 1394 Interface Unit with an EUI-64 of 00:00:74:00:02:01:12:34 would be named RNP0002011234.
IP Address:
Input the IP address of the 1394 Interface Unit.
Subnet Mask:
Shows the subnet mask of the 1394 Interface Unit. This is used to set a portion of an IP address as a network address.
Default Gateway Address:
Shows the address of the default gateway which is the host/router used to communicate with other networks. For 1394 Interface Unit, the same address used for the Network Interface Board is used. Set this address in the [Configuration:TCP/IP]display.
DNS Server From DHCP:
Shows whether the function that automatically acquires the IP address of the DNS server from the DHCP server when using the DHCP is enabled or disabled.
DNS Server (DHCP):
Shows the IP address of the DNS server acquired from the DHCP server.
This is shown when using DHCP and [Enable] is set for [DNS Server From DHCP].
DNS Server:
Shows The DNS servers to be searched below. If the DNS server acquired from the DHCP server is valid, the following list appears showing the order in which the servers are accessed.
Protocol SCCI print(SBP-2):
Select whether to enable or disable SCSI print using SBP-2.
Bidirectional SCSI Print:
Select whether to enable or disable bidirectional communication when using SCSI print.
