This section explains what to do if you have trouble while setting up RICOH Print Support Application or printing.

Cause

Solution

The printer or MFP cannot be registered.

The following causes are possible.

  • The power of the printer or MFP is not turned on.

  • The IP address to use for connecting to the printer or MFP is incorrect.

  • The printer or MFP and the computer are not connected to the same network.

Use the following solution that corresponds to the cause.

  • Turn on the power of the printer or MFP.

  • Confirm the following settings:

    • IP Address to connect is specified correctly

    • IPP is enabled

    • TLS1.1 or greater is enabled

The driver screen of "RICOH Print Support Application" does not appear even when the installation process of the application is complete.

The installation process of "RICOH Print Support Application" did not complete properly.

Perform the installation procedure again.

Printing cannot be performed.

The following causes are possible.

  • The power of the printer or MFP is not turned on.

  • An error is occurring on the printer or MFP.

  • The printer or MFP and the computer are not connected to the same network.

Use the following solution that corresponds to the cause.

  • Turn on the power of the printer or MFP.

  • Resolve the error occurring on the printer or MFP.

  • Confirm the following settings:

    • IPP is enabled

    • TLS1.1 or greater is enabled
