You can configure the scan settings and file saving format.
When using the Smart Operation Panel

Printed side |
Specify the sides of the originals to be scanned, either one-sided or two-sided. If you select two-sided for scanning originals, specify the binding orientation. |
Orientation |
Specify the orientation of the originals that are placed on the MFP. |
Delete blank page |
Specify the operation when blank pages are scanned. |
Last page |
Specify whether the last page of two-sided originals has one side or two sides. |
Size |
Specify the size of the originals to be scanned. Select [Auto detect (mixed sizes)] to scan a batch of originals that have different sizes. If "mixed sizes" is not selected, all pages of the originals are scanned by applying the size of the first page. |

You can switch between the [Original Settings] screen and the [Save Format] screen by pressing tabs.

Scan Size
Specify the size of originals to be scanned. Select [Auto Detect (Mixed)] to scan a batch of originals that have different sizes. If "mixed sizes" is not selected, all pages of the originals are scanned by applying the size of the first page.
Printed Side
Specify the sides of the originals to be scanned, either one-sided or two-sided. If you select two-sided for scanning originals, specify the binding orientation.
Last Page
