Use this dialog box to specify the detailed settings for the Designate/Chapter function.
Page Number:
Enter the page number on which a new chapter begins. If you enter multiple numbers, use a comma to separate entries.
Print Mode:
Select one of the print mode options for the pages specified in Page Number:.
Designate: Leave Blank
Inserts a blank sheet as a separator from a different tray selected in Input Tray: before the page specified in Page Number:.
Designate: One Side
Prints the page specified in Page Number: on a chapter cover from the tray selected in Input Tray:. If you enable this setting, sheets will be printed on the front side only, even if you have specified 2 sided printing.
Designate: Both Sides
Prints the page specified in Page Number: on the front side of a chapter cover from a different tray selected in Input Tray: and the next page on the back side. This option is for 2 sided printing.
Chapter
Prints the page specified in Page Number: on the front side of the sheet at all times while in 2 sided print mode. With this selection, you will be unable to use a different input tray setting than the other pages.
Input Tray:
Select the tray containing the paper to use for the chapter covers.
Add
Click this to add your specifications of Print Mode:, Page Number: and Input Tray: to the Designate/Chapter Settings List:.
Modify
Click this to change a setting in Designate/Chapter Settings List:.
Designate/Chapter Settings List:
Lists the print modes specified for the chapter covers and their corresponding pages.
Delete
Click this to remove an unnecessary item after selecting it in Designate/Chapter Settings List:.
Delete All
Click this to delete all the items in Designate/Chapter Settings List:.
OK
Saves the changes and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box without saving any changes.
Help
Displays Help for the dialog box opened.
